Would you Adam and Eve it?

Finally, I’ve managed to trace my descent from Adam & Eve once again via the English heroic legend Sceaf (see below). Having done so it worries me a great deal to think there are those that believe in the truth of some of the earlier ‘genealogical histories’. Anyway, I’m not going to let the truth get in the way of a good story. So I’m going to take a leap of faith and accept that the Darda is actually Dardanus from Greek Mythology, even if I couldn’t find any mention on the Wiki about the connection or Darda being the son of Zarah and grandson Judah from the Bible. That said I could have skipped Dardanus altogether and cut straight to Noah seeing as though Sceaf is possibly an Extrabiblical son of Noah don’t you know!

Descent from Chaos? Not a big surprise!

Can’t say that I was too surprised to find out about my descent from Chaos, as I don’t feel too far removed the mythological ‘original state of existence’ right now. Thankfully English heroic legend Sceaf provided the genealogical link to my descent from the Gods. It’s been a strange journey though: going from the Anglo Saxon Chronicle, through a variations on Sceaf’s lineage from Norse Mythology in the Edda (although not sure if that’s the Prose Edda or Poetic Edda), and on through to the epics of Greek Mythology, such as the Iliad and Odyssey. Well, there’s nothing like fitting the ‘facts’ to fit the theory.
