Ay Up Newsletter

I’d originally tried to put a newsletter together for the descendents of my maternal grandparents James Astley Birtwistle and Mary Muriel Marwood. Sady, this didn’t get off the ground, but you can read more about the background here. Maybe if I’d explained there was a long lost title or hadn’t pointed out that our origins were not quite as grand as had been generally made out, then I might have got a bit further with it. Hopefully, the Phoenix will rise out of the ashes, as a result of trying to do something on this blog instead. I will in time try and make sections, but in the meantime you can see some of the latest news below or see everything that’s been in added to this section here.
